Cap nut

As the name suggests, the cover nut is a hexagonal nut with a cover, the main function of the cover is to prevent the outer part of the fastening exposed cover, to prevent moisture or some other corrosive substances from entering the inside to play a role in rust prevention, thereby improving the use time of itself and the connector.

Different sizes of studs use cover nuts with different sizes, and extra-long studs use higher cover nuts. There are also self-locking cover nuts with twisted threads in the hex area to create a tight frictional fit to prevent the nut from loosening due to vibration.
