A single-ear stop washer is a metal washer that resembles a ring spring with one or more ears. It is commonly used in bolted joints to prevent bolts from sliding or rotating on the shaft, thus ensuring the tightness and stability of the joints.

At the time of installation, the single-ear stop washer is placed between the bolt and the nut, and when the nut is tightened, the ear of the monolural stop washer will be close to the edge of the shaft, thus preventing the bolt from sliding on the shaft. At the same time, the single-ear stop washer can also absorb vibration and shock, reducing loosening and falling off of the bolted joint.
